Afternoon Tea in Las Vegas

So, you’re living in or visiting Las Vegas but want absolutely nothing to do with the Strip (I hear ya!). It’s certainly not everyone’s cup of tea, but I know something that might be. Grab your gals and head off-the-strip for a relaxing English style afternoon tea in Las Vegas. (Has anyone actually combined the word ‘relaxing’ with ‘Las Vegas’ ever?!)

Where can I get afternoon tea in Las Vegas?

About 15 minutes northwest of the Strip, there is a small little coffee shop tucked away in a plaza called, Coffee Religion.

Address:
5191 W Charleston Blvd
Suite 185
Las Vegas, NV 89146

Coffee Religion opened its doors in 2019 and has been a local favorite ever since. Visitors are often attracted to the cozy, quaint vibes, as well as the large Buddha that sits at the back of the coffee shop (make sure to ask about its story!).

They offer daily English style afternoon tea Monday-Saturday with four time slots for reservations at 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, and 2:00 PM. They are closed on Sundays.

Afternoon Tea in Las Vegas

What to expect at afternoon tea in Las Vegas?

Upon arrival, your table will be pre-set with tea cups for the number of people in your reservation.

Select your tea

Shortly after, you will be greeted by your server and they will bring out glasses of sparkling water and your first pot of tea, which is their house special – a mix of Jasmine, Green tea, and Rose (it’s delicious!).

You will have a chance to order a different pot of tea midway through your teatime. They have English Breakfast, Assam Bergamot and Lavender (we tried this as well, it was very good!), Chrysanthemum and Rose, and Black and Moroccan Mint.

Finger Sandwiches and Sweet Treats

Your server will then bring out a tower of finger sandwiches and desserts for everyone in the reservation to share.

The bottom tier had the finger sandwiches, which consisted of Japanese egg salad sandwiches, cucumber sandwiches, and avocado toast.

The middle tier had pear toast (one of my favorite items served), and fresh-baked scones with clotted cream and jam. The server recommended that we started with the scones before they got cold, which was a good call. They were amazing!

The top tier had all of the bite-sized sweets. There were lemon tarts, apple cake bites, and chocolate cake bites with a caramel drizzle and berries.

There was plenty of food; I was quite full and couldn’t finish all of my desserts at the end.

How do I book afternoon tea at Coffee Religion in Las Vegas?

You can book your afternoon tea through Coffee Religion’s website at least 24-hours in advance. After you book online, you will then receive a call from a staff member to request a credit card to confirm the booking (your card will only be charged a fee if you do not show up for your reservation).

How much does Afternoon Tea in Las Vegas Cost?

At the time I went for afternoon tea, the price was $35 per person. Though, be sure to check their website for any changes to their pricing or hours.

Do I have to go for afternoon tea?

Coffee Religion would be a funny name for a place that only sells afternoon tea haha. No, you can go to Coffee Religion to try some of their tasty coffee beverages and some light bites.

Many people rave about their Momos (pork dumplings) and Kava toast (a Singapore-style toast with jam and butter).

Military Spouse Travel Info:

Afternoon tea in Las Vegas is perfect for military spouses stationed at Nellis Air Force Base or Creech Air Force Base.

Although, a fun date spot, this is a great local off-the-Strip place to meet up with fellow military spouses for a fun girl’s outing. Be sure to make reservations prior to your visit!

Hi there!

Born & raised in Michigan, New Yorker at heart. Adventure took ahold of my fate and brought me to my [now] husband, who leads me around the world via U.S. Air Force. Being a military spouse has raised its challenges, but has taken me on some of the most incredible adventures in places I never thought I would step foot. We have lived in Italy, South Korea, and now currently stationed in Las Vegas.
